About the West End Co-Ed Slowpitch League

The league consists of eight co-ed teams organized through a draft committee. We attempt to put together teams with players of different skills and abilities to make the season play as fair as possible. The purpose of WECSL is to play ball and have fun! We welcome ALL levels of players. You can join by yourself, with your spouse, or with a friend. Teams are different every season. New players are always welcome.

The season consists of approximately 18 games plus playoffs. A WECSL team plays every Saturday at 10am, 12pm, 2pm or 4pm. Teams will have approximately two weekday games per month on either Monday or Wednesday. The league does not play on long (holiday) weekends.

Games begin the last weekend of April, with Playoffs the last weekend of July. There are no games on holiday long weekends.

WECSL is a social league that elects executives at our annual general meeting to oversee the administrative and social aspects of the league. However, the league functions best when all members get involved! So please help out if you can by coaching, umping, and attending meetings and social events!
